part 2

My parents are from this country. My parents have migrated from Baltimore City to Baltimore County. Me and my family lived in Towson.  I was born in Towson Maryland.  My mom and dad then moved to Randallstown to be closer to grandparents on both sides, and then we moved to Owings Mills.  We had lived in two places in Owings Mills because we had to wait for our new house that was being built to be finished in Harford County.  To me it was a long journey to Harford County; when we arrived in Harford County I was still going to a Baltimore County Public School because my parents did not want to pull me out during the middle of the school year. When I was transferred to a Harford County Public School it was different and I really had to adjust to the behavior and actions of the kids in my area and class. As my family and I adjusted we were very well known and had many friends. All my aunts and uncles lived and still live in Baltimore currently. One pair of my aunts and uncles that actually migrated from an area is my uncle Duane and my Aunt Jillian. They migrated to Baltimore with most of my family in 2002 from Arundel County.  My Aunt Jillian is from Jamaica.  Her whole family is from Jamaica, and she still calls and keeps in touch with them.  Only her mother and sister are in the United States.  My grandfather (pop pop Joe) was born and raised in Baltimore and lives there now. His wife, which is my grandmother (Me ma) lived in North Carolina when she was younger. When I talked to her last night she said “the adjustment from living in North Carolina and moving to Baltimore was a major transfer in her life , new school , new home , new people , a new life , basically a new everything!! Hahaaaa” also she said” North Carolina was free and not as cluttered at Baltimore was” My great grandmother Millie who is 87 that I  talked to today said “I can’t quite remember where your great aunt Teresa lived , but if I can jog my memory ; you know I’m getting old Darryn. But from what can I remember she lived in Trinidad. I think that’s in Venezuela. Hahaaa’ I’m still not sure I’m too old to be remembering these things Hun”.  As you can see the majority if not all of my family is in and from Baltimore County, my parents wanted to try and do something different so they moved to Harford County.
