The civil war that is going on in Sudan has killed more than 4 million southerners. The government that's in charge of Sudan are killing men , women , and even young children , no matter the age. The men in the government are raping women and girls. Most Southerners ran away to other southern cities like Juba. Some run away even further as Khartoum , Ethiopia, Kenya, Uganda, Egypt, and other neighboring countries. These people weren't able to feed or make money for themselves on their long journey to a different city to get away from Sudan. They built refugee camps when they got to the city they were seeking to try to stay alive as long as they can.
Today in class we watched how the Africans from Sudan like the United States. We watched how the Africans adapted to the United States. in addition the Africans talked about they eat with their hands to keep the tradition , how they miss their family back at home , and how after they make the money to pay back the government to come to United States , their going to send back money for their family. Also I watched the way the Africans tried new food and learned new things. Also I watched how people looked at them and I thought that was disrespectful. In the movie it was funny though , how the Africans acted compared to everyone else.
