Today in class 12/13/10

Today in class we went over the project that we worked on over the weekend. We didn't have our fourth person in our group so we oovoo'd him and we all sent our questions to Zach and he put it on his blog. Today was fun.

12/9/10

Today in class we finishe dthe movie "Slum dog milionare". This movie was intense and intersesting. i think i am going out to buy it , its a great movie , with a great ending! I was shocked.

India

India is a country in South Asia. It is the seventh-largest country by geographical area. In addition the second-most populous country with over 1.2 billion people. Also is the most populated democracy in the world. India has a coastline of 7,517 kilometers (4,700 mi).
 India is a Home to the ancient Indus Valley Civilization and a region of old trade routes and many empires. The Indian subcontinent was identified with its commercial and cultural wealth for much of its long history. Four of the world's major religions like Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism and Sikhism were originated here. India became an independent nation in 1947.
India is a federal constitutional republic with a parliamentary democracy with 28 states and seven union territories. India is also home to many wildlife in a lot of protected habitats. The Indian economy is the world's eleventh largest economy by nominal GDP and the fourth largest by purchasing power parity. India has become one of the fastest growing major economies in the world. India also continues to face several poverty, illiteracy, corruption and public health  challenges. India is a regional power in South Asia.
It is a founding member of the United Nations, the Non-Aligned Movement, the World Trade Organization, the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation, and the East Asia Summit. That’s basically Asia.

Today 12/2/10

  1. The idian film and motion picture industry is the Largest motion picture industry in the world. Bollywood shows 600 more films than The united states.

  3. Someone that makes tea for people.
  4.  A mausoleum located in Agra, India.  It is one of the most recognizable structures in the world. It was built by Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his third wife, Mumtaz Mahal. It is widely considered as one of the most beautiful buildings in the world and stands as a symbol of eternal love.
