the third re-done paragraph of 9/11
There were many long term effects of 911. After 9/11 the world had a lot of recovery to do. The aviation industry really struggled because so many people were afraid to fly again. There were several airlines that had to shut down and lay people off based on lack of people in the United States traveling. People choose to drive to places versus getting on a plane. A lot of resorts suffered as well because people were not taking vacations for fear of flying. Also the aviation industry was mandated to improve their security system by implementing things to deter terrorist. Now they make it harder for you to get on an airplane. You have to go through a scanning process, and cannot take any liquids on the plane. You know have to arrive to the airports at least 2 hours early to make it through security. Another impact of 9/11 was the fact that there were a lot of children who were homeless and orphaned based on the Americans who were killed in this tragedy. The Department of Social Services had to step in and assist a lot of children. The government had to encourage more Americans to pitch in and help out based on this tragedy. There was also billions of dollars that were spent on looking for the remains of people lost in the buildings. Police Officers, fireman, National Guard, and tons of volunteers stepped in to assist. In addition to looking for people New York and DC had to be rebuilt and money was spent on that as well. Trading also ceased that day, and for many days to come. Another long term effect was the war. So many Americans went to war and lost their lives, and so much money was spent looking for terrorist. Homeland Security also invested a lot of money in protecting the country’s borders and worked with Immigration to track down potential terrorist. Trading is one of the ways that Americans make and exchange money. The long term effects were so many. The main one for me was the fear that was on the earth. So many people were scared after that day. That is all people talked about for a long time. I do not think the world will ever be the same again. When 9/11 comes every year it is still a scary time to remember.
The notes i found from the past in microsoft word
September 24: every group presented what they did for the prezi's me and kamau's wasnt all that great , but we will get better.

When working on 9/11 paper i did not write the date : today mr. schick gave us time to work on our 9/11 research paper that was due the next day. this first paper was to show us what mr. schick expected out of us for the rest of the year.

On the day of 9/11 al queda terriost, hijacked and went and destroyed the twin towers with 2 planes. In addition crashed one into a field.
the interview of my 9/11 research paper
I work for Homeland Security. I was in DC on 9/11. There were a lot of people crying, screaming, yelling. I could like out of my window and see people running with their months over their hands. I really could not get a handle on what was going on as we were expected to be on alert. Once everyone in our building was accounted for they let us go for the day. We work 30 minutes from the trade center. My sister called me to tell me we had to find a way out of DC as buses trains subways were under heavy monitoring. She finally found a friend who was willing to take us but we had to hurry. As I was leaving I saw the faces of so many in disbelief more importantly in fear. Even with the confusion the city was very quiet, everyone sad. I kept thinking wow, how awful, and was thinking about changing jobs. For the next week no trains could get into DC, I called out the whole week. I feel badly for those we lost I also saw God work to pull people together to help one another, and a nation pull together to improve. After that there was even more pressure on our agency to fix broken processes. That day changed me, and those around me.

9/11 research paper
Darryn Garner
Human geography
On the morning of 9/11 al-Qaeda terrorist hijacked 4 planes planning to destroy major Areas in the United States. This plan was successful. The terrorist crashed two planes into the twin towers of the world trade center in New York. Nearly killing everyone in the building, but killing everyone on the planes. These two crashed planes almost destroyed almost the entire world Trade centers. Both the twin towers collapsed in about two hours. These two planes damaged other buildings besides the world Trade centers. The third plane was the planned to crash into the pentagon in Arlington, Virginia. This plan was very well planned and successfully done. The fourth plane crashed into a field in the rural part of Pennsylvania, near Shanks Ville. This wasn’t what the hijackers had planned. The hijackers planned to hijack the plane and crash directly into somewhere in Washington D.C. The cause of this redirection of the plane was that the hijackers flew the plane to low near the ground and the people on the plane could contact their families and tell them what was going on. Two or three of the bigger men on the plane decided that they were going to try to take back control of the plane. This plan was almost successful, but it failed. Between all the planes that crashed into numerous places, plus the people on the plane, the hijackers that hijacked the plane, and the people in the buildings; the total amount of people that unfortunately died that day was about 2,996 people. The people that were on the plane including the hijackers there were no survivors out of all four planes. 9/11 was a disastrous day that killed almost 3,000 of are American people subtracting the nineteen hijackers.
