9/11 research paper

            Darryn Garner
Human geography

On the morning of 9/11 al-Qaeda terrorist hijacked 4 planes planning to destroy major Areas in the United States. This plan was successful. The terrorist crashed two planes into the twin    towers of the world trade center in New York. Nearly killing everyone in the building, but killing everyone on the planes. These two crashed planes almost destroyed almost the entire world Trade centers. Both the twin towers collapsed in about two hours. These two planes damaged other buildings besides the world Trade centers.  The third plane was the planned to crash into the pentagon in Arlington, Virginia. This plan was very well planned and successfully done. The fourth plane crashed into a field in the rural part of Pennsylvania, near Shanks Ville. This wasn’t what the hijackers had planned. The hijackers planned to hijack the plane and crash directly into somewhere in Washington D.C. The cause of this redirection of the plane was that the hijackers flew the plane to low near the ground and the people on the plane could contact their families and tell them what was going on. Two or three of the bigger men on the plane decided that they were going to try to take back control of the plane. This plan was almost successful, but it failed. Between all the planes that crashed into numerous places, plus the people on the plane, the hijackers that hijacked the plane, and the people in the buildings; the total amount of people that unfortunately died that day was about 2,996 people. The people that were on the plane including the hijackers there were no survivors out of all four planes. 9/11 was a disastrous day that killed almost 3,000 of are American people subtracting the nineteen hijackers.

  1. Darryn, what you have here is a good start. You have written the first paragraph of your essay, and you did some decent research in support of your essay.

But you were also supposed to conduct an interview, and you were supposed to analyze the economic impact of the 9/11 attacks. Plus, you needed a Works Cited to show me where you found all your sources.

We have time to get you up to speed on upcoming assignments, but you have to agree that you're not off to a very good start. You need to pay more attention to the assignments, and give a good effort. Then I'll know what you're capable of.
